Refund Policy
Effective date: May 19, 2026. Refund Policy Amendments & Supplementary Clauses for OpenClaw Token World digital AI usage credits and software features.
1. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy implied or imposed by applicable consumer protection laws, including but not limited to the Australian Consumer Law and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.
If our digital AI usage credits or software features fail to meet a statutory guarantee, including in cases of severe service unavailability, systemic technical failure, failure to deliver purchased credits, or other legally recognized service failure, you may be entitled to a remedy under applicable local laws, regardless of any "non-refundable" statements contained in this Refund Policy.
2. Definition of Used or Consumed Credits
Digital AI usage credits, including tokens or similar digital credits, are generally considered "used" or "consumed" when they are applied to, deducted for, or otherwise utilized in connection with any API call, AI generation request, AI output generation, or activation of any premium software feature.
Purchases involving used or consumed credits are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where the refund request arises from a verified technical failure, billing error, duplicate payment, failure to deliver purchased credits, or failure of the service to be provided as described.
For refund review purposes, we may rely on account records, credit usage logs, API request logs, generation history, billing records, delivery records, and other relevant technical or transaction records.
3. Deduction of Transaction Fees for User-Error Refunds
For approved refund requests arising from user mistake, inadvertent purchase, change of mind, or any reason not directly attributable to a verified technical failure, billing error, duplicate payment, or service delivery failure on our side, OpenClaw Token World may deduct non-refundable transaction processing fees charged by third-party payment processors, including but not limited to Stripe, PayPal, card networks, payment gateways, merchant banks, or app store platforms.
Any such deduction will apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and, where reasonably practicable, will be disclosed as part of the refund review or approval process. If a deduction applies, the refunded amount may be the net balance after applicable non-refundable processing costs are deducted.
4. Review and Processing Timeframes
Upon receipt of a valid and complete refund request via [email protected], our billing department will review your account history, payment records, delivery records, and credit usage records within five (5) to seven (7) business days.
If the refund request is approved, we will initiate the refund to your original payment method where possible. Credit card issuers, banks, payment gateways, app store platforms, and other payment providers may require an additional five (5) to ten (10) business days, or longer in some cases, to process and post the funds to your account.
We may request additional information if your refund request is incomplete or cannot be verified. Review timeframes may be extended if additional verification is required.
5. Amendments to this Policy
OpenClaw Token World may amend, modify, or update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any amendments will become effective when posted on our official website with the revised "Effective Date", unless a later effective date is stated.
The version of the Refund Policy in effect at the time of your purchase transaction will generally govern that specific purchase, unless a later change is required by applicable law or provides additional rights or protections to you.
6. Anti-Abuse and Fair Use
To maintain service integrity, we may monitor account activity, transaction history, credit usage records, refund request history, and related technical logs for fraud, abuse, policy exploitation, or bad-faith conduct.
OpenClaw Token World may deny a refund request where, based on account records and transaction history, we reasonably determine that the request involves abuse, fraud, policy exploitation, or bad faith. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Repetitive purchases followed by repeated refund requests.
- Creation or use of multiple accounts to bypass usage limits, refund limits, promotional limits, or service restrictions.
- Heavy or systematic use of credits during the refund eligibility period followed by a refund request.
- Attempts to obtain free or temporary access to paid features through refund requests.
- False, misleading, incomplete, or unverifiable information submitted in connection with a refund request.
- Chargeback abuse or repeated payment disputes inconsistent with actual service delivery or usage records.
Documented abuse of this Refund Policy may result in account restrictions, suspension, termination, removal of promotional credits, reversal of credited balances, or other action in accordance with our Terms of Service and applicable law.
